Government General Degree College, Mangalkote, possesses two state-of-the-art smart classrooms which enables and nuances its project of nurturing global skills and contemporary competencies among students in a predominantly rural setting. The large, air-conditioned smart classrooms cum hall rooms for seminar and workshop, and other cultural events of the college are located in the first and second floor of the college building. The two smart classrooms have:

1.Desktop computers with all necessary peripherals and power backup facility,
2.Wall mount high-end short throw digital light processing (DLP) projector with eco-friendly power saving technology and mobile playback facility through android connection,
3.High-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) dongle to facilitate Wi-Fi connection between the desktop computer and projector,
4.Video conferencing equipment and white board with cybernetic interactive device for virtual interactive work, and
5.Public address system.

All of these advance equipments, technologies and facilities combined together offer global teaching-learning experiences in a remote social setting. The smart classrooms are regularly used to organize classes of compulsory courses like environmental studies, which require audio-visual teaching aids for effective learning. Access to smart classrooms is also provided to departments, committees and special cells,on request,to organize special lectures, sensitizing talks and awareness camps for more impactful learning experience and lingering impression on young minds.
